STAR showcased the six-strong band Dry Island Buffalo Jump earlier this week and it looks like they've caused quite a stir.
The band is made up of two poets, three historians and a French linguist from the University of St Andrews and visited the Double A-Side show this week.
Faces For Radio saw STARs first ever 'marriage'. Yes, AJ and Sarah became husband and wife (they have the photos to prove it) on the Saturday, celebrating their wedding reception live on air, but broke up on the Sunday. It's truly heart-breaking, on-the-edge-of-your-seat stuff.

At the One Water Charity Golf Day STAR caught up with the committee members of the One Water Society to talk about the foundation, the society and the event.
STAR sat down with the student organisers of the African Film Festival which will take place in St Andrews on the 20th and 21st November. The festival is part of Africa in Motion, an initiative launched in Edinburgh to raise awareness for African film. STAR sat down with University and Fife Constabulary officials to get you the scoop on Raisin Weekend. The Rector chatted with us about his own Raisin Weekend and Union President Andrew Keenan also sat down with us to talk about the upcoming weekend. For all the info on how not to get in trouble with the police we talked to Carol-Anne Hazelwood, the University Liaisons Officer for Fife Constabulary. Also in the mix are a few academic children and parents and what they are looking forward to.

Libby Parker and Beverly Macklin came into the STAR studio this Monday at 6pm to discuss the events that will be taking place this week to help disability awareness in St Andrews.
Disability Awareness Week is an annual event held by the Equal Opportunities & Welfare Committee of the SRC to raise awareness of disabilities in our community. Everyday, people with disabilities contribute to the university and our collective student experience. It is the SRC's goal to show St Andrews that ATTITUDE is the only real disability.
On the 13th and 14th of February St Andrews University hosted the Scottish University Ultimate Frisbee Regionals. Richard Browne from the STAR News Team was on site to interview participating teams and to find out more about this sport.
On the 24th February STAR presented Never Mind the Buzzcocks in Venue 1. Before the show Hannah Franklin met up with some of the creative talent behind the event, inlcuding host Lewis Roy and creative supervisor Andrew Mcintyre Baird.

On the 12th March we were joined in the studio by Brian Johnstone, StAnza's festival director, Eleanor Livingstone, artistic director, and Julian Moorman, the student liaisons officer. As well as talking about the festival's history and what goes into organising such a big series of events, Brian and Eleanor brought some poems and music by artists performing at this year's festival. The Foreign Affairs Society recently hosted one of the most controversial and heated debates of the year. The title of the debate was "Progress and Development or Oppression and Assimilation?" with regards to the current situation in Tibet. The debate features members of both the Chinese and Tibetan societies passionately defending their beliefs. So if you couldn't make it to the event in person, STAR recorded the whole thing for your listening pleasure!
